Spiritual Pride in Christians – How did the Sinner go from repentance to being Proud and Judgmental?

What terrible sin man continues to dwell or wallow in? How did sinners full of iniquity coming to Jesus on bended knees start to become proud that they have achieved some spiritually? When did the ability to speak in tongues make a person more superior than the normal Christians? All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, without the saving grace from our Lord Jesus all of us would have perished in hell. There are no super apostle in this world, there are only imperfect men trying to serve God in all their imperfections.

When saved Christians start to gain some spiritual sensitivity they become judgmental and proud as if the righteousness was due to their deserving sincerity. This is not the case, if the baptism of the Holy Spirit makes one proud than you are not in Christ. The Spirit of God is a Spirit of Love, so how can a Holy Spirit filled person become proud even judgmental? This is definitely not of God, for the spirit of pride has come into that person and created the next kind of sinful manifestation. Spiritual person who thinks that they are more holy than the others would have entered into another realm one of Satanic nature; for Satan was a proud Cherub and anointed one who began to want to exalt himself above all else, even God. Such Christians are harboring on the edge of falling down again yet they do not know this. You see what was written in Ecclesiastes is never wrong; there is nothing new under the sun, what has been will be again. This is the ever wicked will of man to become self important.

I remembered very well, when I was in honeymoon with the Lord when I was just saved, the zeal and the passion for God’s word was not usual. I read massively for years and even bought many books and devour the word like a sponge, and then I began to become slightly proud of my knowledge and spirituality. But little did I know it’s the beginning of more cleansing to come. My knowledge puffed me up like what scriptures had spoken. It made me judgmental of everyone who falls short of performing scripture. When someone would not come to church I would think they are not honoring God, when someone could not obey the scripture I would think they are not serious with God. Such was my mentality when I read too much of scripture and was too heavenly minded and not of any earthly good. In short, I was immersed in too much perfumed and smelled pungent yet I know not.

Everyone who knew me then could not stand to be near me, I was a fanatic in the word of God and would quote and use it like a knife cutting anyone within its path. This was the adverse side of being an extremist if there was such as thing as having drunk too much scripture. This is not the same as being drunk in the Spirit, it was a case of spiritual constipation. Later on, I was fortunate to come down to earth and matured through time, thank God who showed me many things about many people and I began to have a love for them even in their imperfection. I began to understand that such thoughts are indeed close to what Jesus said of the Pharisees, preaching what I don’t know, condemning people and stereotyping them without having the love of God in me. As time goes by, I began to see more imperfection in myself and my hidden layers of Sin began to expose itself; more and more.

So what happened to the Baptism of the Spirit? Are you sure you have the baptism of the Spirit? Can anyone who is baptized in the Spirit lack love? They have forgotten the three main key processes of being a Christian, which are justification, sanctification and glorification. Most people who have a competitive spirit will be humble for as long as they are unable to do the things you do but after that when they think they know enough already they will start to challenge you. Such is not the repentance of a sinner for they are after spiritual authority and position in Christ now, they constantly challenge authority. Authority is a God given power to someone whom God chose and it is not an earned or deserved thing.

Time and again they submit to no one but themselves.  Now they feel and imagine they can hear from God already and need not have to submit to anyone. From a sinner saved by grace they have become a proud man full of Holiness. Don’t they realize, anyone who has the Spirit will understand that we do not claim anything in this world and that which is given unto us is from the Father. And the Father is the one who decides and chose who we have to work with until he comes again. As no man is an island, so no one can serve God alone, there is now no need for a Super Prophet nor a Super Apostle for Jesus has come and he is the only one who deserves this title because he was humble even unto death. When the perfect comes, the imperfect disappears, and the perfect is Jesus Christ the Lord, even the bible is imperfect in itself. It contains mistakes even contradictions.

Those who became proud of their spiritual achievement mostly fall when they try to use their hearing to do something for God. They almost become confused later on. I say these because of my 2 disciples who became disillusioned when they try to use what they think they hear and walk in it. The ultimate test of the spiritual ear is hearing from God and doing what it suggested and testing it out by exercising our faith. When we do insignificant things that does not test our hearing we fooled ourselves into thinking we have heard from God. By simple things, I mean God told me to pray, God told me to call someone, God says to go to Church service, God says to give five dollars to someone…..etc. Small things don’t test our faith, but if God says stop work for 2 years and go buy that bookshop for $500,000 dollars and so on than this is a real test of faith. We will know within ourselves when the stakes are high if we can truly test our hearing and when we hesitate then we know we actually don’t believe that we hear from God. Like Thomas who wavers from indecisions when he heard that Jesus was alive and well, he wanted to see evidence of it. Faith must be exercised before we can know we have it or not.

Its when you start to exercise life changing decision from your spiritual hearing of God that is when precisely you will know if you have heard from God or not. As I have said many times, the test of truth is when you do something significant with what you hear from God and to do it constantly until it becomes like taking a shower everyday without hesitation, then you will know that you know you heard God. Because the Holy Spirit is a Spirit of Truth, and those who heard from him will exhibit love and gentleness, faith and peace and joy and self control and patience. Definitely those who have no patience don’t have the Holy Spirit in them for those with the Spirit will manifest the fruits of the Spirit which is mentioned in Galatians 5:22. I have had many students and they all exhibit similar characteristics of true hearing and false hearing. I have yet to meet anyone who hears from God and do great exploits within my circle of contacts; there are no pastors nor brethrens who have had such great victory consistently. Yet I have heard many stories about people who claim to hear from God but in the end they all depart in misery from the path. Some of them harbor on the edge of bitterness and sarcasm from spiritual things. It’s a case of constipation from spiritual hearing. They ended up detesting and ridiculing the spiritual things. I am most fortunate that I have survived this journey and now I can still claim I hear and walk with God, all to the honor and glory of the Lord My God for his mercy endures forever. Those who do not seek power gains it and those who seek the power of the living God missed it always.

Only the true ones can walk consistently and in a steadfast manner throughout their life. Such are few and far in between. For many think they are the chosen ones with a big job installed for them by God, and God will use them mightily. I blame the church many times, sending preachers who preached what their itchy ears wanted to hear, flattery and delusions of the mind, messages that gives false hope and cause many to sin and loose their life savings all because they think God will make them a real prophet or apostle having healing power like Jesus or having the power to call fire from heaven. The craving to be like Christ is again an idolatry which causes many to fall into the pits of lost hope. False hope brings worst despair than no hope at all. So now I have bound all false blessings from my life like a plague and any preacher who preached flattery to me will be cast out from my circle of friends like an enemy. These are false prophets prophesying lies in the name of God Almighty who did not sent them.

Alcohol ban on the tube?

Does this ban mean that someone buying alcohol & carying it home on the tube can now be arrested?
If a person is given a gift of a bottle of wine & has to take the tube home, will they be arrested & the alcohol confiscated?
Am I the only person that sees huge problems ahead in policing this?

I lost my wine kit instructions for Cru Orchard Breezin’ Mango Mint Chenin Blanc?

I started my wine 2 wks ago (as per the instructions), and somehow lost the instructions/directions. My SG started at 1.007 (if I remember correctly, I wrote it on the ppwk which is lost) and is now 1.000. I have NEVER made wine before and have no clue what to do next. The supplier is unavailable to help (they’ve moved) and I don’t know what to do. I have all these packets, but no clue what order to add them, or what to do thereafter. I am making this as a wedding gift and can’t exactly start over, nor do I want to. I don’t even know if it’s at the level it needs to be after the two weeks of fermentation (1.000)! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot find a site with this brand’s (Cru Orchard Breezin’) info to allow me to finish the wine!!!

The packets will be numbered or will be Potassium metabisulphate to finish off action and finings will be a powdered fish product or a clear liquid to allow clearing before filtering and possibly a preservative like citric acid to stabilize before bottling. There may also be a sweetener if so add after the stabilizer so as not to initiate new action.
If specific gravity is now at 1.000 it will not have any more sugar to convert and is as dry as it will get your starting was likely 1.070 the difference will give you the alcohol level .
